Our client is established across the globe as the leading representative body for businesses within a niche of engineering. They are essentially an organization which consults with engineering companies offering various trade courses.

Very much a support role it will suit those with an interest in working in an office environment, recent college or university leaver, anyone looking for a change of employment.

The role is much more administration within a finance environment.

The role involves carrying out both finance and administrative support in the Business Support department. If you're well organized, can pay close attention to detail and like being part of a team then this role could be for you!

Principal responsibilities include but not restricted to

Processing monthly:

  • Purchase Invoice Processing
  • Sales Invoice Processing
  • Bank Statement Transactions
  • Cash Allocation on Customer Accounts
  • Sales Invoice Credit Control
  • Maintaining the Sales Ledger
  • Maintaining the Purchase Ledger
  • Preparation of Weekly Bank Reconciliations
  • Setting up of new Supplier and Customer accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Monthly Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Respond to Customer Invoice & Remittance Enquires
  • Ensure the above Accounting Processes follow to the Quality Management System
  • Any Ad hoc Admin required by the Business Support Team

Successful Applicant will have:

  • Sage would be useful.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Have previous experience (training will be provided)
  • Team Player and quick learner
  • Good Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail.
