Job Advertisement: Qualified Social Worker - Children in CarePosition: Qualified Social Worker - Children in CareLocation: CambridgeshireAbout the Role:Sirona Medical is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic Children in Care team. This team works with children of all ages who are in care, carrying caseloads and progressing care plans tailored to each child's needs. Responsibilities include finding adoptive placements, supporting long-term fostering plans, and working with complex young people in residential care. Additionally, there is a focus on supporting children to return home to family members where appropriate.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry and manage a diverse caseload of children in care.
  • Progress and implement care plans, ensuring the best outcomes for each child.
  • Identify and secure adoptive placements and support long-term fostering plans.
  • Work directly with children and young people, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commit to robust and timely permanence planning.
  • Promote good health, educational achievement, and positive relationship development as foundational elements for a successful future.
  • Collaborate with team members, including the Team Manager, Senior Practitioner, and fellow Social Workers.
