We are looking for passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join our vibrant and fast-paced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. About the RoleAs a Social Worker within the MASH team, you will:

  • Lead and conduct multi-agency enquiries, applying risk analysis and safeguarding thresholds to ensure timely intervention.
  • Act as the primary lead for safeguarding concerns, coordinating responses from all relevant agencies to ensure effective and timely decision-making.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying their needs and developing targeted SMART action plans.
  • Engage with children, young people, and families, building meaningful relationships to improve outcomes and empower families.
  • Produce child-focused, high-quality reports and action plans for various forums, including court proceedings and multi-agency meetings.

About YouTo be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Have strong communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to apply safeguarding thresholds and manage complex cases.
  • Be able to work flexibly across multiple locations and be willing to travel across the county as required.
  • This role is based in a police building, and therefore, you will be required to undergo enhanced DBS and police vetting checks.
