We are seeking a Qualified Humanities Teacher to join a well regarded SEN School in Soham on a part-time (3 days a week), permanent basis. This role is term-time only (39 weeks including 5 inset days), providing an excellent work-life balance while making a real impact in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons (History, Geography, and Social Sciences) to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and valued.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning experience for every student.
- Supervise Teaching Assistants and support their contribution to lessons.
- Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and supporting students' well-being
- Promote careers in humanities through themed events, educational visits, and guest speakers.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and school events.
About You :
- Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and ability to motivate students of all abilities.
- Effective communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification/experience.
- Complete Child Protection Training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young persons they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
