Procurement Specialist Do you have at least 1 year of procurement experience? Are you looking for a new, challenging role? Are you within a commutable distance of St Neots? I am supporting a growing business in their search for an excellent communicator, with proven ability to work flexibly and accurately and as part of a team. The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients to ensure all procurement activities are carried out in a professional and timely manner. Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with suppliers to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Supporting with forecasting activities where needed
  • Price management
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities where possible
  • Managing dates and risks for internal replenishment; working to identify problem areas and identify corrective actions.
  • Ensuring all suppliers provide order confirmations with 48 hours and chasing those that are missing.
  • Ensuring suppliers with frequent date changes and late communication have a performance review and work with them for improvements.
