Position: Warehouse Shipping Operative
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 25,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full Time
Location: Huntingdon
What You'll Do:
- Prepare tooling, equipment, and materials for shipment with precision.
- Generate sales order pick lists and packing slips.
- Ensure compliance with shipping documentation, including customs paperwork.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for quality assurance.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with Customer Service/Inside Sales for freight quotations and tracking.
What You Bring:
- High School diploma and at least one year of related experience.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations (IATA certification required).
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to type and use word processing software.
- Strong communication skills to relay information effectively.
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds and handle physical tasks.
