Position: SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA)
Pay Rate: 95+ per day
Hours: Thursday- Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm
Start Date: Immediate

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic team in Huyton. This is a part-time position working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN in Early Years.
  • Assist with classroom management and create a nurturing, safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to implement tailored learning strategies.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and educational development.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working as a TA in an SEN or Early Years setting is essential.
  • Qualification: A Level 2+ Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Safeguarding: Up-to-date safeguarding training (Prospero Teaching can provide this).
  • Right to Work: You must hold the right to work in the UK.
  • DBS: An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to process a new application.
  • References: Provide professional references covering the last two years from official email addresses.
