A Fitter position has become available within a business that supplies advanced technologies to some of the most exciting organizations across various industries and has done so for over 50 years.

On-site they produce a broad and complex product range, utilizing modern-day manufacturing techniques. Supplying to key customers right across the globe, this key client is working through a considerable period of growth and is offering a competitive starting salary, very flexible working hours (4-day week), and personal development programs for the right engineering professional.

Fitter duties include:

Carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structure & mechanical systems in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation.

Inspect aluminum components for signs of wear and tear, and replace or repair them as necessary.

Ensure that all repairs and modifications meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.

Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that aircraft are returned to service on time and within budget.

We'd love to hear from Fitters if you have the following:

Experience working on aluminum frames/structures is essential.

Strong understanding of maintenance procedures.

Have experience using rivet guns

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
