Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced General Manager to join our well established client.
Duties:
- Responsible for the day to day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking and quality of all component parts associated within the company’s portfolio of products.
- Managing staff across all functions within production.
- Oversee and create scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments.
- Assist the Production Director in every aspect of running the Manufacturing Division.
- Ensure production targets and objectives are achieved, utilise internal stocking system for production planning / scheduling throughout all departments.
Requirements:
- A ‘hands on approach and can-do attitude’ is essential.
- Good communications skills.
- Experience of production planning, supply chain management, monitoring sales orders/stock, forecasting for future demand of new and existing products is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft package including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of the Injection moulding process and Mould tooling.
- Good negotiation skills and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

Working hours: 40 hours per week – 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
