Speech and Language Therapist -Band 6 or 7 depending on experience.

Shift Pattern: 3 days per week (22.5 hours).

Based at: Hollingworth Clinic, Market Street, Hyde, SK14 8HR

Role and requirements:

  • Must be accredited dysphagia trained.
  • To undertake highly complex swallowing and communication assessments with people with learning disabilities in order to diagnose speech; language; communication and swallowing disorders.
  • To develop hypotheses based on assessment and implement Specialist Speech & Language Therapy treatment and programmes of care and discharge appropriately.
  • To work as part of a community adult learning disability multi-disciplinary team by discussing own and others’ input around the client’s needs ensuring a well co-ordinated care plan.
