Reporting to the Head of Procurement, they are looking to hire a strategic Buyer for a key role in the procurement and supply chain department within a growing hospitality industry.

Description

  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct negotiations.
  • Manage the procurement process, from product selection to delivery.
  • Analyse market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to meet company goals, including new menu launches.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

  • Proven direct procurement experience, ideally buying food categories or ingredients.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical abilities for making informed purchasing decisions.
  • A good understanding of supply chain processes.
