Clinical Nurse Manager General Surgery Ward
Location: London
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently hiring for a Clinical Nurse Manager role,partnering with the largest private healthcare provider in the world, and one of the leading private healthcare providers in the UK.

As a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience and providing exceptional clinical and professional leadership to the ward team. This role involves mentoring and supporting junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will oversee clinical competence within the team, foster professional development initiatives, implement evidence-based practices, and deliver high-quality services to patients, families, and stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for managing daily ward operations, workforce planning, and budgetary adherence. Additionally, you will actively promote the ward and participate in relevant forums to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Registered Nurse qualification

  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in a similar setting (e.g., General Surgery, Colorectal, Hepatobiliary, Maxillofacial, Breast, ENT, Urology)

  • Specialty certification relevant to General Surgery

  • Teaching, Assessing, or Mentorship certification (desirable)

  • Management qualification (preferred but not essential)
