About the Role:

As A Deputy Manager and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest quality of care and education for our children. You will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery while also leading on SEND provision, ensuring all children receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Nursery Manager with the daily operations of the nursery
Act as the Designated SENCO, overseeing inclusion and additional support for children with SEND
Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and work closely with external professionals
Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance and support
Ensure the nursery meets EYFS and Ofsted requirements, maintaining high standards of care and education
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to create a positive and inclusive environment

Requirements:

Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
Experience working with children with special educational needs and leading on SEND provision
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted regulations
Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting
Passionate about child development, inclusion, and making a difference in children's lives
