Location: Leyton, East London

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm

Salary: Competitive (with paid overtime available)

About Us:

Burch Drainage Ltd. is a well-established company providing professional drainage services across Greater London. We are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Drainage Engineer to join us.

Role Overview:

As a Drainage Engineer, you will be part of a two-person crew, conducting drainage works on-site, including recording CCTV surveys, unblocking drains, performing drainage maintenance amongst other drainage related jobs. You will use company-provided tablets to write job reports and will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, both technically and in terms of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct drainage inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Record and review CCTV drainage surveys.
  • Generate job reports using company tablets.
  • Collaborate with your crew to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service when interacting with clients.
  • Ensure a high standard of health & safety is maintained on all jobs.
  • Drive company vehicles to and from work sites.
  • Occasionally work beyond scheduled hours, with paid overtime available.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a drainage engineer.
  • Experience recording and reviewing CCTV drainage surveys.
  • Full, clean driving license & be either over 25 or have 2 years driving experience (essential).
  • CSCS card (desirable).
  • Comfortable using tablets to generate job reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure job completion.
