The Role - Assistant Headteacher

I am recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher to join a specialist SEMH school in Redbridge from September 2025. The successful Assistant Headteacher will play a key role in shaping the school’s vision, supporting both staff and students, and ensuring high-quality education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As an Assistant Headteacher you will be responsible for leading key areas of the curriculum, developing behaviour strategies, supporting staff training, and working closely with the SLT to drive school improvement. The ideal candidate will have, senior leadership experience within an SEN or SEMH setting, strong behaviour management skills and a passion for inclusive education, experience in curriculum development, pastoral care, and staff mentoring and a commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
