Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join a high-profiled location for an important client of ours. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs of electrical services, including air conditioning systems, lighting, and distribution equipment.
- Install electrical services such as power and lighting systems, adhering to safety procedures.
- Maintain and repair low voltage sub-main distribution equipment and electrical heating systems.
- Fault-find and test electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Overhaul light fittings, ventilation systems, and other market-related infrastructure.
- Use hydraulic platforms and other machinery for repairs and maintenance across market premises.
- Repair and maintain control systems such as forklift charging bays, roller shutters, and refrigeration-related pumps and motors.
- Undertake meter reading services and replacement of faulty meters.
- Adhere to health and safety and equal opportunity policies, ensuring a safe and inclusive working environment.
Key Requirements:
- Electrical certification or equivalent in relevant trade.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repairs, preferably in a market or commercial environment.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety policies, with the ability to work in confined spaces.
- Flexibility:Willingness to work flexible hours.
