Head of Sustainability

NSB Recruitment Ltd have an exciting opportunity with a leading consultancy in the sustainability sector, who are seeking a Head of Sustainability to spearhead their expansion efforts. This role will focus on business development and establishing a dedicated sustainability team.

Location: Remote/ UK wide (our client is happy to consider someone who is based anywhere in the UK as long as they're happy to meet up once in a while in London).

Join my client as a Head of Sustainability, where the mission is to drive sustainable practices across various projects. The team is composed of experienced consultants and offers flexible working options, including home working with regular team meetings, client meetings, and site visits in London and the surrounding areas.

As a Head of Sustainability, you will lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies, focusing on Circular Economy, Whole Life Carbon Assessments, Sustainability Reporting, and BREEAM Assessments. You will also be responsible for growing and managing a team of sustainability consultants.

My client requires these skills and understanding: a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; extensive experience in sustainability consulting (sustainability statements, circular economy, embodied and operational carbon are all essential for the role); a strong (London focused) network and reputation in the sector; proven business development skills; and excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
