Destination Education are currently working with an excellent Primary School based in a lovely part of Chingford, London.This lovely school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join there dynamic team. Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the curriculum, ensuring the academic progress of all students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and values diversity.
  • Assess student learning through various formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • The successful Teacher will be able to work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents/guardians, and the wider school community through effective communication and involvement in school events and activities.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Have confidence managing children's behaviour during the school day and supporting their learning and participation in class
  • Encourage the development of social skills and supporting students' individual needs
  • Hold a QTS certificate (or the PGCE equivalent).
  • Experience teaching primary school students, preferably in KS1.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and create a supportive learning environment.
