What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering tailored sessions that address the individual needs of each student, using your skills and creativity to engage them in functional and life skills learning.
  • Helping students develop essential skills for independence, resilience, and success in their daily lives.
  • Supporting academic progress in core subjects, focusing on achieving expected grades.
  • Fostering confidence and encouraging a growth mindset in each student to unlock their potential.
  • Working closely with students to create a safe and supportive learning environment, recognizing and adapting to their unique challenges.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
  • Minimum of 6 months UK experience working with children with SEMH/SEN needs
  • Flexibility in working hours and approach to tutoring
