An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Sous Chef or above to join an expanding fresh food gastro pub company in East London.

They are an upmarket gastro pub known for serving mouth-watering dishes crafted from the finest local produce. The kitchen is the heart of our business, and are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and skilled Sous Chef or above to help them take our culinary offerings to the next level.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for cooking with creative ingredients
- Proven experience in a high-end, fresh food kitchen - ideally in a similar environment (gastro pub, fine dining, or modern British cuisine).
- Have a deep understanding of fresh, seasonal ingredients and a keen eye for presentation
- The ability to inspire and lead a team, while ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service
- MUST have fresh food experience
- Used to working in a quality environment
- Have a flair for developing new dishes and collaborating with the Head Chef on menu ideas
- Attention to Detail: From prep to service, maintaining the highest standards in hygiene, food quality, and consistency.
- Must be able to deal with daily/weekly and seasonal menu changes
- Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
- Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock etc..
- Strong health & safety knowledge
