About the Role:
As a Biology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Your role will be to foster a passion for biology, develop scientific understanding, and support students in achieving their academic potential. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality biology lessons.
- Assessing and tracking student progress.
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams.
- Encouraging critical thinking and scientific enquiry.
- Supporting the school's wider science curriculum and initiatives.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Biology or related field
- Proven experience as a Biology Teacher at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate and engage students.
- Passionate about science education with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
