Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager for a local authority client based in Greater London.

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of innovative Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategies, driving cultural change and fostering an inclusive environment across the council.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Lead the delivery of our EDI strategy, collaborating with HR and OD teams.
  • Manage the development and implementation of corporate EDI Learning & Development programmes.
  • Lead the delivery of talent and succession planning, ensuring equality and inclusion are central to our workforce development.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of EDI workshops, events, and training initiatives.
  • Line manage an EDI Project Officer, ensuring effective delegation and staff development.
  • Manage EDI reporting, including statutory reports like Gender Pay Gap reporting.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • CIPD Level 7 Qualification.
  • Proven track record in delivering change management initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Significant experience in developing and delivering EDI-focused corporate training programmes.
  • Experience in data analysis and EDI reporting, including statutory reports like Gender Pay Gap.

Salary: £52,116 - £55,115 Per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
