We are currently looking for a Distribution Assistant to work for a Silversmiths & Goldsmiths company located in Ilford, Essex.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•   Quality check medals, awards and corporate gifts, to a very high standard, against design artwork.•   Pack and dispatch luxury goods, precisely and according to extremely high customer standards.•   Receive and check deliveries into stock, distributing items to team members where necessary, locating items according to stock location in warehouse.•   Assist with regular stock checks by counting goods and recording stock level data, notifying relevant buyer when stock levels fall low.•   Drive delivery van weekly, in and around the London, carrying out required safety check.
Skills and experience:
•   High levels of concentration and a keen eye for detail•   Ability to understand and carry out instructions•   Good verbal communication skills•   Full, clean driving license•   Punctual and reliable•   IT literate, with a basic understanding of Excel, Word and OutlookÂ
This role will initially be on a temporary basis but there will be an opportunity for the role to be upgraded into a permanent role if you impress the client during your time as a temporary candidate.
If successful the permanent salary will be £26,647.40.
Working hours will be 8am to 3:30pm.
Parking is available on site.
