Company & Project: A Top 50 Main Contractor with an excellent reputation for building flagship Residential and Mixed-Use projects across London are seeking to recruit a Senior Site Manager for a £500m+ phased project in East London.

The company routinely completes multiple projects for key long term clients, winning repeat business due to their strong performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing all site management functions, initially looking at externals and envelope (brickwork) through practical construction delivery of the project, and any subsequent snagging and defects work.

You will be expected to work closely with the commercial team on site, taking responsibility for discussing variations, should they arise and ensuring a collaborative team working dynamic on site.

Previous experience in managing large packages or individual projects in excess of c£30m is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of H&S, quality build with low defects, and good client facing skills.

Desirable Experience:

• Previously held Senior Site Manager roles with recognised Top 100 Main Contractors.
• Experienced in delivering Construction projects/packages in excess of £30m+ - specifically envelope, ideally brickwork facade.
• Ideally from a Trade or Site Engineering background, including a BSc in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Strong people management skills, experience in leading teams of c10 staff, including solid technical knowledge of short term programming, construction methodology and health & safety.
• Previous Roles: Project Manager OR Construction Manager OR Senior Site Manager OR Site Manager.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
