We are currently working with a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical organisation specialising in manufacturing and distribution services for pharmaceutical products in clinical trials. As the Manufacturing and Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for leading a very capable team across sterile and non-sterile manufacturing and packaging operations.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the manufacturing and packaging operations at the site, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met for safety, quality and delivery.
  • Help establish lean processes across all production and packaging departments, especially the new sterile facility.
  • Building successful working relationships through continuous identification and implementation of operational guidelines and best practices; whilst taking initiative to challenge regulations in areas where they could be improved.
  • Using your pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging experience to drive projects to completion whilst leading and developing a team of enthusiastic M&P experts.

What you need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of implementing EudraLex Annex 1 and hold significant industrial experience in leading an M&P team within pharmaceutical/medical device/other highly regulated processing industries.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, including validation lifecycle management and change management.
  • Practical experience of Deviation Investigation management and establishing effective CAPA Plans.
  • Experience of front-line involvement with Regulatory Inspections.
