Key Responsibilities:

  • Permits and Licenses Management: Oversee daily operations of permits and licenses applications, ensuring compliance and minimising network disruption.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with utilities companies and Transport for London to coordinate infrastructure works.
  • Revenue Maximisation: Ensure timely processing of applications and inspections to maximise income from licenses, permits, and breaches of conditions.
  • Compliance and Inspections: Coordinate inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and address any issues promptly.
  • Service Management: Implement compliance processes for efficient operational decisions and produce management reports on compliance operations.
  • Strategic Support: Support the vision of a unified service, act as a compliance expert, and develop service offers to maximise income opportunities.
  • Organisational Coordination: Lead and manage activities of Compliance Officers, ensure billing aligns with regulations, and foster a culture of best practice and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Street Manager and processing permits from utilities companies.
  • Some experience with traffic management.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and provide expert advice on compliance and safety requirements.
