Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Senior Leader looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a dynamic Head of Service to join their team on an interim basis in Ilford! This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of children and young people.
About the Role:
As the Head of Service, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and performance management of our services. You will work closely with the Education and Inclusion Senior Leadership Team to refine and enhance the existing Self-Evaluation Framework (SEF). Your expertise will help to deliver on the strategic values and vision of the council, ensuring we achieve the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide confident, evidence-based leadership to drive the SEF review process.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align the SEF with the Council's strategic aims and objectives.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practises informed by current research and good practise.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, statutory, and procedural requirements.
- Translate your extensive knowledge into actionable strategies that enhance service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in a SEND Senior Leadership role.
- A strong understanding of the importance of strategic responsibility in developing and implementing practises.
- Proven ability to provide evidence-based leadership and make informed decisions.
- A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
