Band 3 Locum Pharmacy Assistant Required ASAP - East London - NHS Hospital
Location: East London
Start Date: February 2025 (ASAP)
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Pay Rate: £14.65 - £15.75 per hour (via DE PAYE)
NVQ2 in Pharmacy is a requirement for this role
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in the NHS? We are currently seeking a Band 3 Locum Pharmacy Assistant to join our NHS client at a large acute hospital in East London! This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in the hospital inpatient dispensary, assisting with the preparation and distribution of medication to patients.
- Support the pharmacy team in daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Manage and maintain stock levels of pharmaceutical products.
- Follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines in line with NHS protocols.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is ideal, but not essential.
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy services or equivalent qualification is required!
- NHS hospital experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Additional Information:
- This role is based within a hospital environment and will be crucial in supporting the inpatient dispensary team.
- You will be required to work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break each day.
- The role is offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.65 - £15 per hour, paid via umbrella company.
