GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN teacher to join a thriving school in Redbridge. The SEN teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to students with special educational needs, ensuring that each child’s individual learning requirements are met. The SEN teacher will work alongside a supportive team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching SEN students.
  • A deep understanding of SEN best practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
