SEN Teacher
Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners with special educational needs? We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and expereinced SEN Teacher for a dynamic and welcoming primary school in Newham to join their lovely team of educators from January 2025

You, as the SEN Teacher will be able to:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess personalized learning programs tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of children with Autism.
  • Create a structured and nurturing environment that fosters engagement, independence, and positive behavior.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for each child.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
  • Monitor and record each child's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to meet their individual goals.
  • Stay informed about best practices in SEN education, particularly Autism, and participate in relevant training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children with Autism and other SEN needs.
  • Strong knowledge of the Autism spectrum and effective strategies to support learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Promote pupils cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.
