You, as the SEN Teacher will be able to:
- Plan, deliver, and assess personalized learning programs tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of children with Autism.
- Create a structured and nurturing environment that fosters engagement, independence, and positive behavior.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide holistic support for each child.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to deliver high-quality, inclusive education.
- Monitor and record each child's progress, adapting strategies as necessary to meet their individual goals.
- Stay informed about best practices in SEN education, particularly Autism, and participate in relevant training opportunities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with children with Autism and other SEN needs.
- Strong knowledge of the Autism spectrum and effective strategies to support learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Promote pupils cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.
