About the role:
As anSEN Teacher,you will provide tailored educational support to students withspecial educational needs, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning styles and abilities. You will create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that fosters students' academic and personal growth. In this role, flexibility and understanding are key to addressing individual challenges and promoting each student's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students withSEN.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implementindividual education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide support to students during lessons and assist with their personal care when required.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in anSENsetting is preferable.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children withspecial educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different learning environments.
  • Have anupdated CVand anenhanced DBS registered to the update service(or be willing to apply for one).
