We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Newham. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that caters to a diverse range of learning needs.
Promote practical skills and safety in food preparation, cooking, and nutrition.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students' creativity and critical thinking.
Work closely with other members of the department and school staff to ensure effective collaboration.


Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Food Technology specialism preferred).
Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology, including nutrition, food science, and cooking techniques.
Experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4 is desirable.
Passionate about inspiring young people and supporting them in their academic and personal growth.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
