Acorn by Synergie are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator to maintain their high levels of Safety at their North Devon Site. Main Scope of the role Reporting directly to the HSE Manager who will have responsibility for the Health, Safety & Environmental compliance requirements, to ensure continued certification to ISO 45001 & 14001 and will support the HSE Manager in driving a positive culture and improvement programme of activities.

Key Responsibilities * Ensure statutory compliance monitoring, reporting and administration obligations in Health Safety & Environmental are met. * Administration of ISO 45001 & 14001 certifications and supporting internal & external auditing * Support the business in cultural continual improvement strategy and development of a positive health, safety and environmental culture. * Monitor and report key Targets and Objective and support a continuous improvement programme. * Support the Health & Safety Committee to drive best practices and employee engagement * with the HSE Manager and Leaders at all levels of the business to develop a positive and engaging Health and Safety culture.

Essential Skills and Experience * Effective communicator (both written and verbal) * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel * Knowledge of Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and experience in manufacturing and engineering businesses would be advantageous. * Experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferable.

Qualifications * IOSH National General Certificate. * Recognised Environmental qualification appropriate to the role
