TEMPORARY EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO MANAGING DIRECTOREA to Managing Director of small to medium sized progressive growing business involving usual PA duties plus scope to assist the Managing Director in various activities throughout the business affording personal development opportunity.

Duties include:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team.
  • Manage and maintain executive schedules, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executives.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment.

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • Strong character, resilient, fast learner, able to challenge others - up and down.
  • Able to write SOP's for new staff to follow.
  • Accurate with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritise multiple requirements and work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills covering Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to resolve user IT interface issues in conjunction with IT supplier.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills for minute taking - typed up whilst meeting is taking place.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidential, diplomatic and discrete.
  • Able to use own initiative and work independently.
  • Awareness and interest in marketing and branding.
  • Because of the sensitive nature of the duties the post-holder will be expected to undertake, you are required to disclose details of any criminal record

The role is working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and is based in Ilkeston.
