HR Assistant/Generalist

I am currently recruiting for an experienced HR Assistant/Generalist to join my clients team, based in Ilkeston, on a full-time basis.

Offering variety and a diverse range of tasks, we are seeking a self-motivated individual with proven experience in a HR Generalist role to deliver a first class service to clients and uphold the clients strong reputation.

Proven HR experience is a must and a Level-3 CIPD is desired however this isn't essential. BreatheHR experience is also desired.

About the role:

  • Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding process -final pay calculations, preparing final holiday calculations, preparing and issuing letters, administering exit interviews etc
  • Supporting recruitment selection – creating adverts, placing adverts, monitoring applications
  • Liaising and supporting candidates with the interview process
  • Assisting with adhoc HR project work
  • Assisting the HR Advisors with employee relations issues
  • Maintaining clients HR system
  • Implementing and supporting clients with HR systems
  • Manage shared HR inbox, resolving queries and escalating/forwarding concerns to the HR Advisors for effective decision making and resolution.
  • Administration of company benefits, including pension, health benefits and discretionary benefits
  • Administration of absence including sickness, maternity and other family friendly leave
  • Prepare and issue offers of employment and new starter packs, tracking and checking receipt of new starter paperwork

Hours & Pay:

  • Salary around £28,000 - dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday

  • Proven HR experience
  • Ideally Level-3 CIPD Qualified but not essential
