Position: Class 1 Shunter (Despatch Loader/ HGV 1 Driver)
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 07.00-16.00, Fridays 07.00-12.00
Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Shunter to join our logistics team. As a Class 1 Shunter, your primary responsibilities will include loading/unloading company vehicles with finished goods, general warehouse duties, driving and shunting across our sites, and delivering soft furnishings/furniture to customers across the UK. You will also be responsible for external deliveries to caravan parks across the UK as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading/unloading company vehicles with finished goods
- General warehouse duties
- Driving and shunting across sites
- Moving vehicles/trailers in and around the yard
- Helping to load/strap vehicles
- Ensuring safe and legal operation of the vehicle at all times
- Delivering soft furnishings/furniture to customers across the UK
- External deliveries to caravan parks across the UK as needed
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of UK geography
- Class 1 HGV Licence and CPC trained
- Up to date CPC card or obtained through grandfather rights
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- Full training will be provided
