An exciting opportunity for an Accountant is available at a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Ilkley.
The role involves preparing accounts for various entities, tax returns, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of practice experience in an accountancy firm and should be comfortable with client interactions.
The position is suitable for individuals who are AAT qualified or pursuing ACA/ACCA qualifications.
The salary for this role ranges from £25,000 to £30,000, with flexible work options and career progression opportunities.

Exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Ilkley. This is an incredible opportunity with a growing firm, enabling you to work with a wide range of clients from a variety of industries, keeping your work life varied and interesting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Preparation of Corporation & Personal Tax Returns.
Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns.
Management Account preparation.

To qualify for this Accountant position, ideally you should meet the following:

Will have a minimum of 3 years’ Practice experience in an accountancy firm, having worked as an Accountant.
Feel comfortable and confident contacting clients and building relationships and supporting junior members of the team.
Suitable for someone who is AAT qualified or part way through ACA/ACCA
