We are searching for a proactive and highly organised Senior Property Managerwith a love for all things property to join an independent letting agency, covering West & North Yorkshire.

  • £30,000 - £35,000pa, dependent on experience

  • Office Based - Ilkley (4 Days) & Harrogate (1 Day)

  • 25 Days Holiday+ Bank Holidays

  • Saturday Rota (1 in 4)

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident residing within commutable distance of Leeds. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing property maintenance for our client’s portfolio of rental properties. You will work closely with the Directors & Lettings Manager to ensure continuous upkeepof all properties under the portfolio whilst supporting other areas of the business on an ad-hoc basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for maintenance enquiries via telephone,email and app.

  • Liaising between tenants, contractors and landlords to organise and resolve any outstanding maintenance issues.

  • Updating energy suppliers with move-in and move-out meter readings.

  • Arranging property inspections andfollowing up on any remedial works.

  • Conducting check-in and check-out appointments with tenants, negotiating the security deposit and works as required.

  • Managing the safety certificate schedule for all properties held on our client’s portfolio and coordinating all safety certificate appointments.

  • Coordinating tenancy renewalsand rent reviews and dealing with any associated administration.

  • Uploading relevant notes, certificates and invoices into the CRM system to ensure accurate records are kept.

  • Contactingviewing enquiries and arranging appointmentswith prospective tenants, carrying out viewings when covering holiday or during exceptionally busy periods.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years’experience in aproperty maintenance role is essential.

  • Sound property knowledge with an ability to use your initiative when dealing with maintenance issues.

  • Highly organised with an ability to work in a fast-paced and process-driven environment.

  • A strong work ethic, with a proactive approach to work.

  • Ameticulous individual with high levels of attention to detail in all aspects of work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Can quickly and easily build rapport, manage expectations, and maintain ongoing client relationships.

  • IT literate including CRM & Microsoft packages, preferably experience onAlto &Fixflo.

  • Hold a clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.

  • Are a UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
