Flourish Education is seeking a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs at a 'Good'-rated Ofsted school near Ilmington.

This role is perfect for a dedicated professional with experience working with children with SEND. You will provide 1:1 support, helping to create a positive, engaging, and tailored learning environment. The children you'll be working with have a range of needs, including ADHD, Autism, and challenging behaviour, and split their time between the school's SEN hub and mainstream classrooms. This role is based across the school supporting children in KS1 and KS2

. The role is full-time and will continue until the end of the current school year.

This SEND Teaching Assistant Job Role:

Supporting the Class Teacher with delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

Working with a pupils across the school to promote their learning and development.

Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils with varying needs.

Preparing classroom resources and assisting with lesson planning.

Helping maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive and productive school day.

Delivering interventions in the schools' resource base.

Required Skills and experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant  Role:

      Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK Primary School.

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, teaching assistance, or equivalent.

A solid understanding of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Strong experience with Challenging behaviour

Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant with Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:

 A competitive salary of £88.92 to £95 per day, which equates to £17,339.4 to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.

This SENDs Teaching Assistant position is based near Ilmington, which is commutable from areas such as Shipston-On-Stour, Pebworth, Honeybourne, Badsey, Evesham, Moreton-in-Marsh, lower Quinton and Stratford-upon-Avon. Due to the remote nature of this school having your own mode of transport is essential.
