Join our team as a Financial Accountant, where you will lead and manage our Finance team. This role is suited for professionals with a strong background in financial management, ideally within the manufacturing sector. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our financial processes and systems.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Finance team, providing clear roles and feedback.
- Oversee and optimize the ERP system for financial and business processes.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
- Manage company cash flow and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Oversee Credit Control, including setting credit limits and managing collections.
- Maintain control accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop financial systems and management information.
- Act as the main contact for annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- CIMA/ACCA Qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE.
- Experience in financial management, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong IT and ERP system skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of VAT submissions and external audit processes.
- Payroll experience is beneficial but not essential.
