GROUP REPORTING ACCOUNTANT - £45,000 - £50,000 + hybrid, Taunton

We've teamed up with a dynamic, market leading client based in Taunton to find a highly motivated, newly-qualified Accountant looking for variety, board-level exposure, and exciting travel opportunities. If you're eager for a role that blends financial reporting, analysis, and hands-on involvement in key projects across the Group, this could be the perfect fit.

Role Overview:

Help drive the Group's financial reporting and consolidation, from monthly management accounts to annual reports. Get involved in financial analysis, controls testing, ad-hoc projects, and supporting the Group's external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with half-year and full-year financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly accounts, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Help create the monthly management and board reports.
  • Provide insights into financial results and new accounting standards.
  • Ensure financial controls are followed across the Group.
  • Collaborate with tax and audit teams.
  • Assist in maintaining the investor website and ad-hoc projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
  • Flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and multi-currency consolidations is a plus.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with high integrity.

Hybrid working: 4 days a week during initial training period, 3 days thereafter.

Salary: £50,000.
