Hours of work:39 hours per week, worked as 8.5 hours Monday to Thursday and 5 hours Friday. Additional hours may be required to meet specific customer requirements.
Job purpose:Compiling bespoke design, mechanical and electrical drawings for low voltage switchboards and similar products. Full training would be provided.
Main Duties
- Creating outline cabinet designs to customer specifications using already established symbol blocks.
- Obtaining requirements from in-house electrical engineers and preparing general arrangement and single line diagrams
- Updating drawings to reflect as-built products
Skills/Attributes
- Experienced user of AutoCAD or similar
- Interest in workingwith electrical switchgear or similar products
- Comfortable working to deadlines
