Job Title: HR Advisor

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: Circa £32,000 PA

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (one hour lunch break)

In this standalone position, working closely with the Group HR Manager, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of operational HR activities and providing expert support to business managers and employees.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a comprehensive range of HR services
  • Ensuring HR processes are standardised and consistent
  • Assisting with employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary processes
  • Collaborating with the Group HR Manager to update policies in line with legislation
  • Managing monthly payroll processing
  • Undertaking HR administration duties
  • Offering advisory support on HR matters and promoting positive working practises
  • Implementing effective recruitment strategies
  • Facilitating seamless onboarding processes for new team members
  • Identifying and delivering learning and development opportunities
  • Assisting with the annual Performance Review cycle
  • Supporting the Group HR Manager on specific ad-hoc projects
  • Contributing to HR projects and assignments

To thrive in this role, our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Part CIPD qualified (minimum level 3)
  • Strong HR Generalist experience
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Word & Excel
  • Solid understanding of employment law
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities
