Centre Manager required to support an established Charity. This position is paying an annual salary of £30,000 working 35 hours a week. The centre is open 365 days of the year, and whilst the Centre Manager will likely work 9.30am - 5.00pm, the role will include weekends, bank holidays, and flexibility to work outside of core hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to provide support to visitors from around the world. Applicants must be over the age of 25 with a clean manual driving licence for insurance purposes on to use the organisations mini bus.

Duties:

  • Providing a welcoming environment to visitors
  • A registered key holder and "on call" for emergencies
  • Manage services provided
  • Check all floats at the start and end of shifts
  • Attend welfare meetings
  • Source and purchase stock
  • Manage the company vehicle and transportation schedule
  • Supervise volunteers and employed staff
  • Participate and manage centre events, networking with the local community

Experience required:

  • An effectivecommunicator with a high level of customer service
  • Experience supervising or managing a team
  • Experience of money handling is desirable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
