Electrical Engineer

Location: North Lincolnshire
Salary: 40k to 45k

Key Accountabilities:

  • A key member of the on-site Engineering Team providing practical and technical support.
  • Perform necessary breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance activity.
  • Effectively maintain process and auxiliary equipment, ensuring effective performance of plant and process equipment and uptime improvements.
  • Performance of effective investigative, planning, maintenance techniques.
  • With a strong health and safety ethic, and safe working practices.
  • Risk assessing and risk assessments.
  • Management of Contractors.
  • Communicating activities with Management and Team Members.
  • Permits to Work.
  • Isolations.

The Candidate:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 with a background of working in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experienced in Industrial Plant Activities/Operations.
  • Experienced in Preventative maintenance techniques, planning, faults and breakdowns.

Experienced in:

  • AC/DC Electrical Drives.
  • DSEAR and PUWER.
  • Electrical Power Distribution Networks.
  • PLCs.
  • Permit Systems, Isolations.
  • Reading Circuitry Schematics.
  • Risk Assessments, Permits to Work.
  • Excellent communication skills to work both with and without supervision
