Working within the transport office in Immingham, you will be assisting in the routing , planning and support of the HGV fleet of vehicles, the drivers and the general operation of the business within one of Europe’s leading trailer companies.Job description
- Planning of loads and routes
- Maintaining haulier and subcontractor relationships
- Working within a team
- Communicating with drivers and customers
- Dispatch and tracking trucks
Skills and competencies:
- Good communication skills
- Trasnport planning experience
- Experience in trucking/haulage industry
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of IT systems
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge in UK geography, driver hours and law, trailer transport, shipping ferry/port knowledge and last but not least UK haulage market.
