Job Purpose and Scope:

Supporting our project the Graduate Quantity Surveyor will support the Project & Project Quantity Surveyor in managing the commercial aspects of their role. In particular:

  • Maximising the commercial results of the project in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets & to maximise cash.
  • The Procurement of Sub-Contractors.
  • Financial Control of Sub-Contractors.
  • Preparing timely & accurate monthly financial reports to forecast net margin & activity.


Our graduate programme will start in September 2022.

Essential & Desirable criteria:

  • A 2:1 in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • A genuine interest in the construction industry

You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom based learning and on the job training. Our programme offers a balance of training and on the job learning to support your transition to becoming an accomplished professional. We will support your route to chartership and give you the opportunity to develop different skill sets outside of your specialism. The duration of the graduate programme will be spent of the BYLOR project with the potential to see different aspects of the project in this time.
