They are currently seeking an experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering Maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is perfect for a skilled electrical professional looking to contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting.Job Description:As the Site Electrical Engineer, you'll be the in-house electrical expert for our client's engineering team. You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising all electrical plant equipment, minimising downtime, and improving safety standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide mentorship, hands-on training, and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts across the facility.Key Responsibilities:* - Act as the in-house electrical specialist, mentoring and offering training to team members.* - Ensure maximum operational efficiency by maintaining electrical equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.* - Conduct daily Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) checks and inspections to keep equipment fully operational.* - Diagnose and repair faults in all electrical installations.* - Perform general maintenance tasks and preventative measures to support smooth production.* - Implement continuous improvement initiatives across plant infrastructure, enhancing quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.* - Complete maintenance documentation and perform inventory checks to maintain adequate stock of materials and spares.* - Gain expertise in the client's production machinery through hands-on training.Skills & Qualifications:* - Significant experience as a Site Electrical Engineer, ideally within a food or automated production environment.* - Time-served Engineer with a minimum of a City & Guilds qualification; 18th Edition IEE Regulations preferred.* - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently across various production areas.* - Effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure.Salary & Shifts:Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.Full-time, permanent contract (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with flexibility for occasional weekend work at enhanced rates.If this exciting opportunity aligns with your experience and career goals, we encourage you to apply.
