Duties

  • Audit Engagement Management: Leading and managing audit engagements from planning through completion, including setting timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring adherence to budgets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, addressing client needs, and providing insights on complex audit issues.
  • Risk Assessment and Strategy Development: Identifying areas of financial risk, developing audit strategies, and implementing audit programs to address client-specific risks effectively.
  • Team Supervision and Mentorship: Leading, supervising, and mentoring audit team members, delegating tasks effectively, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Reviewing Audit Work and Reports: Reviewing and approving audit working papers, financial statements, and reports prepared by the team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high standards of quality.
  • Technical Expertise and Compliance: Staying current with auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry regulations; ensuring that all audit procedures meet compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Delivering Value-Added Insights: Providing clients with actionable recommendations and insights based on audit findings to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiencies.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Managing project budgets, monitoring engagement costs, and seeking efficiencies to meet financial targets.
