One of our valued clients is looking for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join them on a short term basis with an immediate start available.
The role is to perform a variety of accounting, financial, and administrative duties to support the Finance Department in fulfilling its responsibilities for managing and controlling the Society's operations and finances, main duties include but are not limited to:
- Match invoices received to works/purchase orders.
- Code invoices appropriately, liaising with the requisitioning and goods receipting departments as necessary.
- Ensure invoices are sent for authorisation in accordance with the Group's approval and authority limits.
- Process appropriately approved invoices into the finance software accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support internal and external customers as appropriate to resolve purchase ledger queries.
- Be vigilant to potentially fraudulent activities at all times.
- Report any inconsistencies to the Accounts Payable Advisor.
Previous experience in a financial assistant/administrator role is desired. Excellent organisational skills is a must.
Monday - Friday 35 hours weekly
Based onsite in Invergordon
Salary - 30,229 pro rata
